People of earth and Miata Club aficionados!   It now appears that Saturday's forecast will hold making for a perfect day for our Spring run. 
 As always, we meet with gas tanks full and bladders empty.
 (That is unless you wish to purchase gas in Carson City}

We will meet at 10:00 and the Summit Shopping Center Park and Ride and leave at 10:30 sharp.

 

The run route: 

Up 431 to Virginia City, left down Six Mile Canyon, right on Highway 50 to Dayton.

Left on Dayton Valley Road to the 1^st and Ten Bar (240 Dayton Valley Road) for a leisurely inside dining lunch experience.

 

After dining everyone will have options that fit their day.

 

The club will continue back to Carson City, turning south on 580 and then south on 395.  (or you can head back to Reno from the 1^st and Ten, your choice)

Right onto Jack's Valley road for a stop at the Genoa Country Store.  There we will avail ourselves of their facilities, sit out for a break under the beautiful sky pondering the next move.

 

From Genoa there are three alternatives:

 

1. Continue south on Jack's Valley Road, then left on 88, back to 395 and homeward bound. 
2. Head north on Jack's Valley Road and homeward bound.
3. Head east to 395 from Genoa and home.  (Costco gas is available on all three routes)

 

 The idea is to give everyone flexibility in how long they wish to be out.  A suggestion:  If you haven't had your Miata out for a while, please check your oil and tire pressures.  Just good prep.
