We had 10 cars join us for The run and a few for Breakfast at Richie's Dinner

We headed up 38 into the Big Bear Mountains

It was a bit cool with the snow but it was top down driving all the way.

Once over the mountain we stopped for this picture before our first "BIO" Stop

With a few more twisties we headed for the I-15 for a quick on and off to Calico Ghost town road.

We arrived and met one of our group that missed us at the start and drove
straight to Calico. They got about two hours head start on the tour of the town.

Lots of old west to examine and see. Times were rough back then.

Here is the restaurant where we had lunch just inside town.

Enjoying the day the "Red Hat" ladies were taking in the sights.

We had the patio almost to ourselves. The food was good and the portions
were just right. The drinks were huge in jar type mugs.

Here you can ride the Calico Mine train for a tour of some of Calicos hidden mines etc.

The weather was a little windy at the start, by the time we hit 38 it was nice and sunny.
The rest of the day was just perfect for top down driving and walking around the Ghost Town.
(Which I never did see any Ghosts?)
