SOCALM’s
2009
Holiday Party

Come one,
come all on Saturday December 5, 2009 to Tom & Marna Wood’s
house (5067 Glenwood Ave,
Fontana). We will
celebrate the holidays with our friends from the Miata
community, exchanging food, gifts and lots of smiles

For the
pot luck Chef Tom & Marna will furnish meat (Barbeque Beef brisket and pulled
Barbeque pork) and beverages.
If your last name begins
with:
A through G please bring
an appetizer;
with H through R
bring a side dish, (EX: a potato or pasta dish; vegetable dish;
chili; corn bread)
with S through Z
bring a dessert.
For something extra, we will give out prizes for the dishes
voted best tasting and most unusual and "other
reasons" we can think up! Like farthest traveled.
We will
once again have a gift exchange, one per person or couple your
choice. This year, see if you can come
up with something unusual or special.
Some suggestions: check out knobmeister.com or crazyred.com for
Miata themed gifts. There are other similar websites listed on
miatafun.net on the Venders page. Another idea is to give a
gift certificate for something you do for a friend – like detail
their car or cook them dinner. Let’s keep it simple and fun and
under $25.
Come
ready to have a fun and festive evening. Come dressed in
your holiday best! Celebration starts at
5:00pm and is usually over around 10:00pm. (Gift exchange @
8:30)
